Ingredients
  • 1 Vanilla Stick
  • 150 gr sugar
  • 110 gr butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 240 gr flour
  • 1.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1.5 teaspoon of salt
  • 170 gr sliced pistachios
  • To Decorate
  • 150 gr chocolate, melted in a bain-marie

How To Do?
  • Set the oven to 160 degrees and start preheating.

    Cut the vanilla stick in half and scrape the vanilla inside with a knife. Add the sugar. Mix the vanilla and sugar well with your hands and set the mixture aside.

    In a different bowl, beat the butter with an electric mixer until it has a light consistency. Add vanilla sugar and beat until fluffy. Then add the egg and vanilla extract and mix until you get a smooth consistency.

    Add flour, baking powder, salt and peanuts to this mixture and knead until the dough comes together.
  • Divide the dough into 3 parts. Form each piece into a long stick about 3 cm wide. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes until the edges are lightly browned.

    Take the baked dough out of the oven and let it cool. Slice the pieces 1.5 cm thick with a bread knife. Place on baking paper with the cut side down and bake for about 15 minutes, turning once. Set the baked cookies aside to cool.
